What is EFT?

What
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a method used to manage physical and emotional pain. It can also help reduce stress and anxiety. For example, EFT may help calm you if you're feeling angry or ease your mind if you're worried about something.
EFT is also known as tapping. This is because the technique involves tapping your fingertips on specific points on your hand, head, and torso. These points are similar to those used in acupuncture.
-
Why
Tapping helps to take the body from a state of fight-or-flight to one of rest and it can also be done by simply thinking about what makes you anxious, afraid or where the physical pain is.
You can do it anywhere and at any time! No fancy equipment, no time restrictions, no need to prepare beforehand. Best of all, anyone can do it. If you can’t tap yourself, someone else ca tap for you.

How
EFT works by tapping on the pathways through which "life energy" is believed to flow in the body, known as meridian points, to release blockages. These specific energy pathways, or meridians, help balance energy flow to maintain your health. An imbalance in energy flow can lead to disease or sickness. By tapping with the fingertips on these meridian points, you can release blockages, thereby alleviating pain or distress.
My experience.
EFT has profoundly impacted my life, allowing me to gain control over my anxiety and manage physical pain more effectively. Through tapping, I have not only found a way to ease my stress but also discovered the emotional roots of my physical discomfort. This method has empowered me to address the underlying causes of my pain, leading to a more holistic approach to my well-being. By sharing my experiences with EFT, I hope to inspire others to explore this powerful technique for their own emotional and physical health.
